Forgot to share the little Easter party we did for the kids last Friday. We made decorations out of what we had like construction paper Easter eggs. I cut one template, and the kids did the rest. Brynn dyed eggs and made a chalk game outside.
I made a bunny box ball game and a bunny hat for Luke. I made the bunny box by wrapping it in a white disposable tablecloth and decorated it with paint and construction paper.
I got creative with the food. Carrots were bunny’s garden patch. I made a Spring into Easter sandwich of chocolate nut butter and strawberries. Popcorn was bunny tails, and sparkling water was April Showers sparkling water.
We did an Easter egg hunt and Easter bingo with a free printable I found. These were really big hits for the kids and we’re great projects over a day or two.
Brendon’s birthday is early May so I plan to keep the kids busy by doing a festive day or two for that too. There are so many opportunities in family parties while they’re home to teach them about creativity, leadership, manners, cooking, writing, fine and gross motor skills, and more!
